Sterling passed away at home on Thanksgiving Sunday, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 65 years, to Gertrude «  Garry«  McDonnell. Loving son of the late Hilda and the late Norman Woods. Cherished father to David, Jim (Michèle), Cindy (Steve),and Steven. Proud grandfather to Mélyssa (Matt), Brandon, Paige, Erin, Patrick and his great-granddaughter to be. Predeceased by his brothers, Melvin (Beverly) and Ernie, his sister, Evelyn (Randy). He leaves behind his sister, Beverly (late Bev), many nephews, nieces and friends.
